Murree is one of the largest resort towns in the Galyat area of Pakistan, and is the capital city of Murree Tehsil  It is situated on the southern slopes of the Western Himalayan foothills as they ascend to the northeast towards Kashmir.
Murree is accessible by road from the centre of the Islamabad and Rawalpindi areas. It is still associated with Britain; many British fruits (including cherries, raspberries and strawberries) thrive locally. There is a church, built in 1857, located at the centre of the town, which is still used as a place of worship. Many houses around the church are still standing, functioning mostly as hotels. Old traditional restaurants have been replaced by fast food shops and newer restaurants. Some old places of accommodation, such as the Rich Villa Inn and Gulberg Hotel, have completely disappeared. A typical hotel usually provides a motel type accommodation with breakfast and communication access. Newly built hotels are also accessible.

Before 1900 the area of Pakistan, where Muslims ruled Central Asia and South America for over 300 years. Today Pakistan is composed of people of different races, like the Muslim Arabs after the delivery of books, the Persians of Bukhara and Samarkand in Central Asia, the Turks and Sindhus national who turned to Islam.
The official name of Pakistan was used after the partition of (British) India 2 United Nations, India and Pakistan in 1947. However, the word that Pakistan first used by Ch Rehmat Ali in 1933 in his statement, Now or never - requires its separation from the Empire. Then under British control in India was divided in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (with two sections West and East) and India. A third war between these countries in 1971 resulted in East Pakistan seceded and became the separate nation Bangladesh. A dispute of Jammu and Kashmir has started between India and Pakistan.
